Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

i love this hack!! BUT for some reason it causes the forum not to work on firefox...on firefox the forum does not show up...just the header part but no threads, forums, etc...when vbshout is disabled it shows up again.

Would someone be gracious enough to help me code the image tags around this modification, so it appears to be a bit more intigrated into the forums?

I'm Interested in taking the right and left header portion and adding it to the generic header of the shoutbox, as well as the right, center and left footer portions, and adding them to the bottom portion of the shoutbox.

I know that editing the xml file is what i need to do, i'm just not certian how to do it, and i would really appreciate any help you guys might be able to give.

I've attached a crummy image just to help express what i mean.

Let me know if there is anything else needed... any help is appreciated.

if you use IE all goes fine.... with extemepixel skin too

if you use FF with extremepixel skin... the box with last shouter appear below shoutbox, not on right side


someone can help?

and..... how i can have Shoutbox on all forum pages (or selected pages)?

find:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
and modify that 88% to 87%.... that's all

if so, i noticed that the box "shouting" refresh and show users only if you type something inside shoutbox... (if you don't type, you see "loading...")
it's possible to have a auto-refresh? every 5-10 seconds could be good
