Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

That's all there is AFAIK.
there is also

/*me your message without the *

/prune deletes the whole shoutbox

and /prune there message

By memory i think they are correct.

Hi all first i will say Thnx for ur hard work.
Second i will say i have "loading"issue (only display "loading..." and when i enter smth to shout nothing happen when i hit again it say "posting in progress").My vb is 3.5.4 i already chmod folder and file+checked if ajax is enabled,also check my style templates if shout are there,also checked under IE but same results.Can i ask for help with that issue?

Hi,
is that release removing automatically the SQL table after uninstall the product via ACP?
I've uninstall vBshout and going to phpMyAdmin to remove the table vb_shout but I dont see it, is another way to do or removing from DB?

This is really cool. I am new to the world vB, so all this rocks!

I have but two questions:
1- Like every user on my site is requesting the shoutbox to appear on the "New Posts" page versus the "Forums" page, is there a way to move it over? If so, could you provide instructions so a novice could understand?

2- When I open my site to review the shouts, I scroll up to read the ones I missed, but every 5 secs or so, it tries to automatically take it back down to the last shout. Is there a way around this?

Thanks for the coding this...I wouldn't even know where to begin when it comes to stuff like this...

The codes are:
/*me bla bla bla->without the * the irc like command that says "nick bla bla bla"
/prune -> deletes all the shouts
/prune nick -> deletes all that nick's shouts
/prunshout bla bla -> deletes the latest shout which is the words "bla bla"
be careful: if you want to delete a shout that contains a smilie you have to type the smilie code also
sorry about my bad english

That would be cool, I didn't read the whole thread but I noticed in the admincp for the command activation section it still says:

Hi,

I would like to know how can i change the font by default of the content of Shoutbox.

I want to use smallfont but i don't find the part who display shouts in templates.
