Seems like a few people have asked this same question only to be blown off. this was the only reason I installed it before.

It's unsupported but does work with 3.5.4 but it has a word wrap problem. there was a fix for the database version but it doesn't work with the flat file version.. So right now I just live with it.. Sure would be nice if someone reserected this hack on vbhackers and did some updates!!

Hang on, there, jedifans. That statement is not true.

SOME have had other parts affected, but not all.

SOME of us have installed vanilla test boards, put on the shoutbox, and still had the editor disappear, with no other problems found.

I ran months on the old, 2.0 version. Not the updated one. But on 3.5.4.

It ran fine, except for the refresh issue. Which wasn't that bad for my hosting.

But, 2.1, on 3.6.0, even vanilla, had the editor disappearing randomly.

Others just want to say the one doing the install screwed up. That is not accurate.

There is something else at play here.

Without 2.1 on, my forum is running 100%.

So, nope, no one is trying to figure it out and fix it. They are just thinking it is an install error.

I believe it has someting to do with logging in. I don't believe it 'connects' every time, for some reason.

I just want to say i have no problems with this whatsoever on 3.6 I have also gotten the timestamps sorted as well

And let me add, here, the updated 2.0 does the same thing.

Now, why does the original 2.0 run clean, but the updated and 2.1 not?
