Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

My Forum is german and the new version doesn't show umlauts like ä/ö/ü correct, is there anything I can do?

Also vBSEO seems not to work with that shoutbox, would be cool to see that included in a future version or to have a quickfix.

yup, I did...

I'm kinda sure abt it 'cause when I tried to write somethin on the shoutbox it opened me a sort of login window, I tried to close it and it redirect me to the hackers homepage. But I had the v2.0 and not the v2.1

Now...since I'd like to keep this hack on my forum cause I think it is awesome, I'd like to know if this new version of the hack is safe or not...

ps sorry for my english
i don't know what version of shout that my sister site have but while the hackers was going crazy hacking the sites they tried to do that redirect link in the shout box and it did nothing to it .only showed some quote stuff and did nothing so i guess it's hack proof for the moment.

2 questions :
(1) How to Auto - prune the shoutbox every lets say every 24 hrs ???
( 2) is their any way to speed up the time it takes from the time you post till it is displayed
This shoutbox works great , great job
