Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

Another option is to include a time stamp in the format of 1 hour ago, 30 seconds ago, ect... instead of the actual hour:minute time stamp. That method would not require the time zone calculation so all members would see the same time frame

this does not fix the problem all the options were set to yes hun its the add shout on all pages hack that is a revision of the arcade shout and it does not include the buttons from the original shoutbox... The shout box works on all pages but we need the codes for the actions and buttons the only buttons that work on shout box are shout and clear

somehow i moved to another server then when i try to shout something it just doesnt display how to fix it?

the shoutbox is one of the best hack for vB
I'd like to thank Master Zero Tolerance first
However it doesn't display timestamp anymore
Could this be a bug?

summary
vb3.6 with sb2.1 : no shout timestamp
vb3.5 with sb2.0 : shout timestamp ok

It's not a bug, it's due to the flat file system. There will be a version soon that will fix the character problems and use the forums default timezone.
