Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

This must be related to the issues of the editor appearing and disappearing on members of 3 boards who have posted here.

I don't use quick reply and have nothing about it from any members, yet.

I use 100megs, so this is not a Host issue, since they specialize in forum hosting and I never had this issue under 3.5.4.

I upgraded to 3.6.0 and installed shoutbox 2.0. The editor issue began.

So, I switched to 2.1, which is a better performing version in the issue, at least, of slowing down the forum.

But the random editor problem continued.

There is either a bug in 3.6.0 or a conflict with some mod. Or some incompatibility from RC 2 to Gold.

So no one has any idea why the editor drops in and out randomly?

Sigh. It does not make sense.

The old 2.0 on 3.5.4 didn't do it.

But it the updated 2.0 did and now the 2.1 does on 3.6.0.

I tried both and installed both several times to make sure there was no install error.
