Hey there,

First release here, I'm sure most might know me from over at vB.org, in anycase they broke my vBShout, so here's a fixed version, with a few extra bits:

- Flatfile System (Seriously cuts any intensity this once created before)
- Bug Fix: ' used to break edit shout
- Bug Fix: Users couldn't edit/delete their shouts
- Bug Fix: Parsing problem (that vb.org created..)
- Feature Disabled: Timestamps, this is unfortunatly due to using a flat file system.

Enjoy everyone, if you have the previous vBShout installed, I suggest uninstallation the previous vBShout product then installating this one fresh (saves you havning to revert templates).

Also, this will work for any vB 3.5 installation

Default vb code problem
The vb code does not work for me in the vBShout 2.1 box even though I have it activated in the admincp. Is it because I unistalled it over the vB 2.0 which I had installed earlier? Does the vb code work for anyone else?

I uninstalled and reinstalled again but still it does not work. I want to use the url code very urgently to put an url link but it does not to work and shows the url code instead of the link. What could be going wrong? Is there any way I can switch on html code as I am using it as a live announcement box so I am the only one who is using, so there is no security issue.

When I do that, the url shows up enclosed in url tags instead of a link. I hope this work somehow.

BIG QUESTION: Can I use this shout box if my host don't support AJAX?

AJAX is asynchronous javascript and xml so if your telling me your host won't let you put JS on your server then you have a bad host. It's not a case of the host really.
