What this does
Creates an Advertise page with changable variables. For example if you look at the demo the spots available, rotation, price and paypal button is changable. But if you really want to see it all then press install

(cool, it rhymes :p)

To do list...

Time to install: As long as it takes you to import an xml and upload a file
New Templates: 1
Template Edits: 0
New Files: 1
New Phrases: 10
New Plugins: 1

Instructions
Import the attached XML and then Upload advertise.php to forum root.

my paypal button isn't showing up so there is nothing to click on. How can I correct this?

There is no reason why it shouldn't. It must be invalid button code or something liek that. If you look then you stilll have the defaul values there so you arn't saving anything to the db.

I like the Idea very much, and all worked well. You should not drop this one too far away. With a little efford this could be a mighty addon for every board. Did you ever think about building this up to a serious banner mangement or banner rotation? Your hack would make a perfect frontend for such a task ...

yes i have, it is already in development for automation, going to make it premium though, $25 (quite cheap for what it does..) It will do automatic banner management, once a company pays via paypal it will automatically add it to the rotation

Same with the text links and buttons.

Well, then you better put me on the list of your potential customers ;). If I could help you out with something (Beta testing, graphics or other stuff), simply drop me a line. Your Idea would absolute knock me out, when you could add Google Adsense funktionality. Perhaps you can add a function to display Banners and Google Ads looking like Forum posts? (have seen a 3.5 Hack somewhen). Keep on your good work!

Thats not to hard, just duplicate the postbit template.
