6. Once you upload the files provided goto yourhost.com/forumdir/admincp/install_fxppack.php or
yourhost.com/forumdir/admincp/install_fxppack_4PAX.php or yourhost.com/forumdir/admincp/install_fxppack_4TV.php depending on which install you need.

7. Follow the install fully and do not turn any option off unless you have already run the install in particular the dbase edits before.
8. Read what it says in the install properly.

Set up of lockdown is as follows:

For a normal FTP forum ie filled ftps check
You can use Lockdown, IRC, IMDB and Force fill release field ONLY!

If its a Race forum (the ones that show on forumhome in the lastraces) check
You can use Lockdown, Race IRC, and IMDB ONLY!

Dont want to force use to fill the release field dont set forum as a race or check force user to fill release field.

If its a Hack forum ie an empty ftp for someone to fill check
You can use Hack Lockdown and IRC ONLY!

If its a Scans forum check
You can use Scan Lockdown and IRC ONLY!

iMDB can be switched on to work with lockdown and race ONLY!

IRC can be switched on for ANY forum.

FTP checker can be used on FTP, Race, and Hack forums.


Do NOT switch on Scans and Normal Lockdown on any forum!
Do NOT switch on Hacks and Normal Lockdown on any forum!
Do NOT switch on Hacks,Scans and Normal Lockdown on any forum!
Do NOT switch on Hacks,Scans,Race and Normal Lockdown on any forum!
Do any of the four above and dont be suprised if your question about why you have problems is ignored.
