This will not I repeat will not! fix your host problems so if your host blocks you prolly dont need this.

What this does do is this. Some people have problems with timeout when testing an ftp. This update reduces that please note thats reduces it does not stop them completly! The error is one for the guys over at php.net not me to fix I just reduced how much it effects this hack.

I tested 2000+ ftps and had only 2 timeouts in that time.

Its not a major update so I havent bothered updating the main thread yet will prolly do that tommorow its getting late here and The Long Kiss Goodbye is on the TV

Just overwrite your old functions_fxppack.php with this one.

No the original package is not updated so yes to benefit from this fix youll need to download from here.

Still got the same problem with this update, all seems to be offline, but they are not. I sthere anything i can do about this. All the threads are closed.....

If there showing offline your host is blocking the script from connecting to the outside so using the auto is definately not advisable as it will close the thread.
There is no fix for this because its not a hack problem.
