Default F.a.q.

Ok I figured this might not be a bad idea since there are so many questions that are asked repeatedly.
I will update this over time and make no appologies for questions that are missing or unanswered.

1) Are there any install instructions?
A. See the install and then here if you still need them.

2) Will there be any updates?
A. No Definate plans to release updates atm or ever. Right now the answer to this question is a difinative NO.

3) When I goto admin cp I seem to be missing some text.
A. This is a strange one because for some this is fixed and for others its not. If you have this problem do the following.
Goto admin cp phrase manager and choose ANY phrase and click edit. You do not have to change it so ANY phrase will one in the edit page you can click save. All your missing fxppack phrases will now show.

4) Will I port to newer versions of vbulletin when there released?
A. No comment. :p

5) I have timeout problems with ftpstatus checker.
A. See this forum for an updated version.

6) Will you give support for modifications to this hack?
A. NO and just incase you missed that the answer is NO! I will not support modifications / addons or anything else not related to the hack in its original form this includes template mods. I may from time to time choose to offer advice on modifications but I do so at my discretion.

7) Are you accepting requests for the next version?
A. Suggestions are always welcome but since there is no planned update as yet you may be wasting your time.

8)I have a question that isnt in this faq.
A. Read both the original thread and these forums and then feel free to post it in these threads. If your question is already answered in these forums or the original hack thread dont be suprised if you get no answer.

9) The ftp checker shows my post offline when its offline.
A. Read both the original thread and these forums. Also remember this there is no perfect ftp checker they do get it wrong. There could be a number of reasons why it gets it wrong for eg. bad routing from host to ftp, host a little slow at connecting and it timed out etc. If you want a good ftp checker thats right all of the time then I suggest you get a member of staff to do it for you but even he will have connection probs on an ftp you connect to ok or vice versa at some point. Simple answer here is dont expect it to be perfect.

Yes I could just answer the damn question but i choose not to. Just as anyone asking that question has chosen not to read the original hack thread.
I choose not to waste my time answering questions that are easily answered by doing a little research. Still want answers try here

seems to me you ended up answering anyways but instead of actually answering you just made rude remarks anyways.....

if you didn't want to answer the question then why did you even respond with a post??? sorry to sound rude and I don't mean to argue but your first reply sounded pretty rude to me and even the hack description itself doesn't exactly tell what it does...

I guess it's some sort of a teamspeak thing?? oh well..... maybe if yo7u explained it better people wouldn't have to ask you what the hell it does...

I chose to answer because a question was asked. I chose not to waste time writing a lengthy description because its not needed.
Its very simple the people that need this hack know exactly what it is and what it does. Therefore my answer was more than enough regardless of how you may interpret it. I make no appologies especially since the answer was not for you but you seemed to take offence at anyway.

Basically it retrieves information about games from gamespot, if I'm not mistaken. What if someone needs the mod, or might need the mod in the future, do they still not need it if they don't know what it is? There's a novel concept. And, in my unbiased opinion, you were rude.
