This works with normal HTML and can be found in the following way:
  1. Go to your Admincp
  2. Open Usergroups Menü
  3. Usergroup manager
  4. Press edit on the usergroups you want to be colored
  5. Username HTML Markup

For example, if you want the names of the chosen usergroup to be in bold, enter the following in the first field:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Second Field:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
If you want the names to be italic and underlinded, enter this in the first field:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Second one:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
To display the nicknames in colors, enter the following for the first one:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Second:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Where you can edit the red, for example to blue, green or anything you want

Regards

cool got it work, now is there a thing that will display on the main page what each color or bold/italic means? like it will have "Admin" "Mod" "Registered"

if that makes sense

You can enter whatever you want.

You can make your administrators for example red, your moderators green and your super moderators blue

How you are going to set it has got nothing to do with the thing's i did in my posts, this was just a explanation of possibilites you have on the first view.

I still remember like 3 Months ago...

my first post on vbulletin germany:

"How do i color the names of the admins and what do i have to set that the profile is left of the post?"

I didn't even know what a Template is at that time...

* GirlsOnTop bashes her head against the wall

--------------------

I think i'll make an extra HowTo therefor

i understand all the changing of colors and such, im asking how do i on the MAIN PAGE, the home page of the forum, at the very bottom where it lists active users, i want to list what each color represents, like if someone comes to my forum, they see a green user right below that will be the listings of the colors like "Mod" would be colored in green, if that isnt clear ill find a forum that demonstrates what im looking for

I'm pretty sure this modification does exactly what you want, if not your skin probably doesn't support it.
