it has leech and race and a couple of others but it is possible to add in a upload counter.

Upload counter...screenie? explain it better? ...a pub counter IS an upload counter...

Like user has uploaded 1.5 gig then they do another pub and its 3 gig
Almost impossible to make work correctly unless you enforce stupid restrictions including ftp type lol.
So with that said you wont be getting that from me. Good luck to anyone that can make this work well.
The other option i guess is have mods check each post and add to members upload stats on a small board im sure thats easy but on others it would be virtually impossible to keep upto date withought lots of mods per forum.
You could allow users to enter the total but this would of course need to be moderated somehow.

Last option and I guess the easiest and prolly the most reliable would be a pre dbase that stores file sizes I know mine does. That could add to users upload stats but even the best dbase misses releases and because of the way the info is gathered its not always correct either. Then there is of course the fact that not everyone has access to a dbase like that.

Lastly and this is just my opinion of course the hack is pointless. You have a counter to say they posted a pub/hack etc an upload one would be a very bad representation of a users contribution since its so flawed.

ah no what i ment was this.

when you have an uploads section.

you put in that what you put in that section is a race

however anyone who does an upload there wins a race.

there are two options available to you.
1, you have one section that is for the first upload of something and then a seperate section for the mirrors whcih means they dont get the race win.

2, you have one section which is what i only have room for.

the first post of a release ie: ravens_fights_areana-blah-blah
wins the race.

the next person who uploads that release does not get a race win they get an upload point instead.

so that way you know who has won the most races but also who is uploading alot too.

if he posts it in race, meaning he was the first to post, won the race blablabla.

if he want to post it after someone posted a race? is that what you are talking about?
