Default TV hack - Leech flexibility

I wonder if its possible to mod the present tv hack so that we can turn on/off the leech count for each forum, instead of for all or none where lockdown is enabled?

Anyone up to doing this mod?

Wookie...

hmm, never actually installed TV's lockdown, but isnt it working that way, that you can turn the counters when ever you wont on the forums you want them?

In admincp you can turn on/off the counters (including the leech), and you can also enable the lockdown and set the ammounts for each counter, in an area called "FxP Hack settings"

In Forum manager, for each forum you can enable the lockdown to work on that forum and you then have a choice as to what you want each new thread to be counted as..ie, pubs/scans,etc etc (not leech)...and that is it.

Now I figured that if you could enable the leech count overall to operate on any forums where lockdown is used, that if it was recoded slightly that an option as to use the leech counter or not could be available through the forum manager.

Would anyone have any suggestions?

TIA

Wookie

i asked for something similar before and still hoping someone would be so kind to make ;)

but what i was asking was an option that could be ticked when replying so that the lockdown wouldn't be revealed and thus not adding to the leech account

As vast overstatement with your "million queries" - *******

I guess you people dont understand the concept of you being ****ed if jelsoft ever decided to add/remove something from vbulletin's prebuilt tables with column-count mismatches and such. Thats the reason i use a seperate table for counter storing, while it increases redundancy slightly, in the long run it will save you headache after headache. But of course, i havnt thought about these things and im a lamer coder right
