hello,

i'm having a bit of problem importing the csv file into my database so i'm hoping someone can help me out. i'm uploading the file locally and using mysql prompt. in the tuts that i've read on how to import csv files into mysql, here's the command that i'm following:

LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE '/importfile.csv'
INTO TABLE test_table
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',';

however, i get stuck on which 'table' the importfile is supposed to go to? do i create another table, and if so, what name? when creating a table, i'm following this command:

mysql> create table my_table (ID int not null primary key, l_name
-> varchar(20) not null, f_name varchar(20));

i really could use some advice please...thanks!

Moonstruck

EDIT: here's the error i get when trying to enable the hack in the admincp:

Database error in vBulletin 3.0.3:

Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO fxp_forumsettings VALUES (2,1,0, )
mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1

Me and repec have a lot of RL stuff going on, at the moment we are washing over this and that feature, many of which were not even imagined when i said i was going to make a better one.

As such, the progress is slower than anticipated, so i would rather you not bug repec or me about anything to do with this hack, the more i have to help people with the old version or whatever, the less free time i have to code the new one..

Mind you, its coming along very nicely...
