Default Thread Count In Specific Forum For Each User
Version: 3.6.x
Hack Category: Add-On Releases

Curious Because I Cannot Find An Updated Hack For This Anywhere.

What I'm Looking For, Is Something That Will Add A Count, Like The Posts Do, For Threads Created In A Specific Few Forums, Rather Than My Entire Board... It Needs To Only Count Threads Created By The User That Creates Them..

So It Is Their Own Personal Thread Count, And Only Including Threads In Those Specific Forums I Specify..

If Anybody Can Please Point My In The Right Direction, I Would Be Greatful

Ok Nick... I see your post now.... when I searched before, I guess my search turned up a different thread with my terms and that one did not work..

With your code, do I create a php file, or insert that into a template.. or need to run a query?

Thanks...

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in ***/httpdocs/forums/includes/adminfunctions_template.php(3596) : eval()'d code on line 78

this is what I keep getting...

I have no table prefix, tried with it, and deleting it..

THIS IS WHEN I AM PUTTING IT DIRECTLY INTO THE POSTBIT TEMPLATE

Thanks....

This was the thread here:

http://www.vbhackers.com/f103/show-t...tbit-8440-new/

I actually made a post in there as well.

This is basically my question:

Can't find any information on this anywhere other then for older versions of Vbulletin..

What I need to know how to do is, in a specific group of forums (Forum ID's 16, 27, 22, 25), everytime a user creates a thread there, I want to add 1 to a number displayed in their postbit...

It needs to be for each user, so if nobody makes a thread in one of those forums, their count never goes up... and preferably if the thread is eventually deleted, it does not remove the count.

Here;
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Put that in a plugin, location; postbit_display_complete (something like that)

then put $post[count] in the posbit template where you want the number of thread made to be displayed.
