Well, just a Texas Hold'em game for Vbulletin. One that uses Ucash or Ebux, or it's own points system. Maybe people can add real money to their account with Paypal or just a bank transfer.

Anyways, people can play poker against each other with this hack in real time. Others can watch and join when a seat is available. Many more rooms can be made. All the stats must be available. Tournaments can be planned. Players can chat in real time.

I know this hack is most wanted so please be free to post the things this hack needs.

I'm thinking from the technical side that this mod will require a seperate server process (program running on your server); not because poker is a complicated thing to do, but getting http to do instant things (instant card update, chat, and so on) will require some backend trickery, so I think this will have to run a server process to avoid a lot of cpu intensive polling.

Does anyone know what proportion of people who run vB sites have access to shell access on a *nix machine? A 'cpanel' account with ssh access enabled would be suitable

If we do go this route, the ssh component won't be more complicated than typing 2-3 commands into a black window with white text

This would be a killer mod ;) I think with Flash + Flash remoting server it could be done. Also Java is a killer language for it. I would love to help, although we need to code a very complex background.

Well, I don't know. Maybe it's better this would be a payed mod so it wouldn't be all over the place but if it would be made for free I wouldn't mind either. I just thought other mods would be more popular so it wouldn't win this comp.

But let's wait and see... ;)
