When oh when is somekinda team/crew hack gonna be released.

Someone knows when or is someone working on it? Maybe someone wanna start to work on it?

Team/crew hack for what 99% of you want is for fxp that means it will need to be based around a lockdown of some sorts and the most popular one is that of Touchingvirus. I have been asked by people on IRC if ill do it and my answer is the same as ill give here.
Since it needs to be based on a lockdown and TV is atm redoing his before he releases I would rather wait for his new lockdown to be released and base the code solely on that than have to update it once he does release.

I should point out that this is not a statement of intent.

I make no promises of a future release of this hack just that if I choose to do so it will be after the next release of Touchinvirus's FXP hack.

What about one based around Patrax's lockdown. You wortoe the race hack for it. I think a group hack added to it would be killer

I'm just curious though. What if one was written off of showgroups.php. With added fields and columns. I'd write one or help but i don't think i can code well enough to do somthing of that sort.

Paxtrax lockdown is not as popular I wrote the race hack for it when TV's lockdown was not publicly available (officially). If I write the team/crew hack based on that hack ill be constantly answering support questions on how to convert it.

I think it unlikely TV's lockdown will change so much that I couldn’t start work now but I would prefer he improved the permissions system dramatically since right now its very query intensive and unnecessary. Hence my feelings to lean towards waiting till the next release, I would like to see code improvements that I know are possible which will then make the writing of the add-on easier, the install easier and the whole thing take less time to do because I’m not having to write around badly written code.

No offence meant by that btw TV, Not that the code is badly written there just isn’t any other way to get across the point.

The changes may not come of course and ill still have to write around the code but if the changes do come and ive already written to fit how things are done now then ill have to rewrite to fix. Im sure you can understand my reluctance to do the same **** twice.
