this hack was already been asked for in the past. i'm sure once some coder will have enough time he will port it to 3.5.x. only thing left is to wait.
patience is a virtue ;)

EDIT: also wanted to note the original coder of this hack (eXtremeTim) is registered on this community, and he already said he will port this one to 3.5.x soon enough.
