Default Subforum

Hey Guys,
I requested some help on IRC but didn't get any help,

here's my request:

Were can i set subforums shown on forumhome.. so you will get under a forum name something like this:
Soccer Forum:
Sub: First Division, Premier League, etc

I'm sure this one isn't that hard ;)

Thanx already!

In the admincp go to Forums & moderators and go to the forum of your choice (if you already made the forums). If you still have to make forums you'll have to go to the same section and add the subforums. there is one thing you'll need to do for the subforums. When you open one of them in your admin panel to change the settings go to the top rows (Add new forum). Underneath are a couple of options. Parent forum is the one you need. Set for every subforum "Soccer Forum" as parent forum. Now these forums will be subforums of the parent forum.

I did, but didnt get it to work strangly.. so that's why i'm asking.. here are some of the settings of forum listings display options:
Depth of Forums - Forum Home - 3
Depth of Forums - Forum Display - 2
Depth of Sub-Forums - 3

Quote:
Depth of Sub-Forums
Use this option to display deep subforums as text links in the parent's forum description area.

For example, if your forums are setup like this:

parent
--child
----child's child

And your forum depth is set to 2 and this setting is set to 3 then you will see the first two forums displayed "fully" on the forum homepage while the level 3 "child's child" forum will appear within the "child" forum's description:

parent
--child
child forum's description.
Sub-Forums: child's child
im i doing something wrong>?

so you want to show the first 2 layers directly with description and the third as a sub of the 2nd?

try this: 2 - 2 -1 - yes

then it should work, works like that on my forum ;)

should work by fixing the setting you said for yourself bobbie.
check again the settings under:
admincp -> vbulletin options -> forum listing display options:
there try to "play" with different numbers of the:
Depth of Forums - Forum Home
Depth of Forums - Forum Display
Depth of Sub-Forums

it should work.
