Default spam protection for pm
Version: 3.6.x
Hack Category: Add-On Releases

Ok, just thought of a brilliant idea to further prevent spam. A hack that moderates (or scans I should say) any pm's sent between members. It would scan for duplicates (copy/paste) and based on admin's selected number score (say 2 duplicates) it will immediately put that member sending the pm on moderation instead of immediately sending further pm duplicates. Even further, if that person sends say, 5 duplicates in a row for example...it will trigger an immediate ban.

What do you think? Never seen this around before

It's a good idea but could be flawed. EG. A guy sends "Hey, wanna be friends?" to 5 people and he gets banned... xD

If someone sends the same exact copy/paste to x amount of people, likely it is a spam.
