you'll see a phpbb board..

when you'll over with your mouse on the forums or any link you'll see a link effect in red, i wanna have something like this in my vbulletin 3.0.7 forum..

Thats a fade affect threw javascript i belive. You can search google to find it. If not i'll find something for it.

Heh, that looks pretty cool.

After a bit of searching I found this in their CSS:
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
Try adding that to your CSS, and change your anchors (links) from <a href="xxx"> to <a href="xxx" class="forumlink">

Not sure if that works though.

You have to search your templates for <a href=".

In the <a href="xxx"> I posted is xxx a random link, any link on your site really.

CSS will do the trick too
JS makes it more complicated then it is allready
so search for the things deaths said
and i think it will work
otherwise gimme a yell

well i understand that this is an old topic but this effect is so cool

well on how to add it here is the HOW TO :

1 ) create a file called fader.js put this code in it
You must first be a registered member to view any code.
2) Copy it in to the root of ur forum

3) Go to ur Admin Panel - StyleManage and edit
headinclude

4) Search for <script type="text/javascript">

5) add

above it


u can also put src="fader.js" in between the script tag..but this way ur code looks a bit easier to understand if u look @ it later


it was tried on v3.5.4
