[Req. Mod] To display random attachment image's thumbnail on forum home

Ok friends.. i am looking for some hack with which i can display thumbnails (multiple) of attachments on forum home or on overall forum header.

any way how to do this? Like 4 random thumbnails images of attachments on top in header . Actually i have only picture related site and i only allow attachments of images on my board.

I am using file system for attachments instead of database storage.

Help me guys! :speechles

give me a better idea where you want it, like show a picture of the area where it should be shown and explain what template you want it to show up in. This is easy to do, the hard part is knowing exactly where you want, so it can be done without adding another needless query.

Please tell if this is OK with you!

Add (5) options to the forum permissions....

Permission Title

Random Thumbnail Images

Option 1

Allow images to be displayed in this forum (yes, no), turn it on or off

Option 2

Show random images on all pages (yes, no), yes all pages will show random images, no then only forum home will display the images!

Option 3

How many random images to show (###), number format

Option 4

Display how many images per row (#), number format

Option 5

Display extend attachment info (yes, no)

If there is anything else you want (added or removed) tell me before I release it!
