Promotion According to different values

Hey guys,

How can I modify the promotion script that comes with vBulletin 3 to support promoting not only by posts, by a different value that I added in the table "user". For instance, if a user has 20 pubs, I want him to be moved to a different usergroup. Same as posts promotion, but for a different value.

I'll take a stab at it.

EDIT: This may be a little while, due to time and the extensive coding that I'm going to have to research in order to completel this hack.
