Prevent Posting again before (X) responses

Dont you hate when a member posts, then the same member replies a few minutes or days later ?
or when 2 members uses a topic as a messenger type form by replying to each other as if they're in a battle ?

This hack would prevent users (not moderators or admin) from posting More Than 1 post in thread before X responses. Admin can set the amount of replies from other users before member can reply to a topic again.

I used it on vB354 and set to 5, that way members posting would have to wait for a few different members opinions before they could reply again in that topic, it was excellent.

the vB354 version by Developer is here , but I need one for vB364 ( i tried for hours to get this to work on vB364 but didn't succeed , so if any coder can convert to vB364 it would be appreciated )



I already have prevent double-posting hack, but that allowed members to amend their previous comment. I don't need that.

I agree with loco, but with one modification. If you use the no double posting hack it will work in all but one case, that being that two people can still argue back and forth in a thread. So what I would do is use the no double posting hack BUT modify it to two posts instead of one. That should cover all your bases and it should be easier to modify that hack than the other hack ;)
