Anyway to stop the postcounts from dropping when board is pruned i would like to fix this.

Don't update your postcount counters i would assume.

Well i know there was a hack made for Vb2 to stop it. WHen u del it will update the counters. THe file u did edit in vb2 was functions.php in admin folder, Dunno what file now runs this/
