Default .NFO Text correctly shown in thread !?

hi
is it possible that vbb could correctly show nfo text in threads ? because when i post ascii text in a thread all lines of that pic are not shown correctly.

here is an example of it in the thread and how it should look like in attachment.

Hmmmz, well, try this and let me know if it solves your problem..

Get into your admin panel, choose custom bbc code..

Now lets make a new code tag

Title: NFO Hack

Tag: nfo

Example:

Replacement:<pre><smallfont>NFO:</smallfont><hr><font style="font-size:6pt; line-height:3pt;" face="Terminal">{param}</font><hr></pre>

Example: [nfo]NFO Text / ASCii Art[/nfo]

Description:

Button:

Save the new code tag.. Go make a post and check it out.. Should work like a charm.. Dunno, if that totally helps you out or not, but its what i use for posting .nfo's...

Hm, not quite. Terminal font doesnt come up on every system. We need something integrated into vb to force terminal font, or a script which would convert text into png or else so it shows the NFO with the proper font on any sytem. Thanks alot.

Well, try some of what u think are standard fonts installed on all systems.. I terminal doesnt work for you, I think there is a console font that works just the same..

If you really wanna go the route of converting the .nfo file into a .png file, well, thats a hack, I'm not gonna work on, since its probably a little beyond my know how Maybe one of the leeter hackers here, could tackle that project..
