i am using shavedapp announce and i wanted to add announce
but when i did
$text = "/invite bla #chan";
$chan="w/e"
irc_send(text,chan)
it just send the text to chan without actually invite
any1 know why and what should i do?

let me explain it to you, so you wont do stuff like:
1. go to the edge of the window
2. jump
3. bye

SA ANNOUNCE hack is only for ANNOUNCMENTS from the board it self, when you did, $text = "/invite bla #chan"; all you did was asking from the bot to say it, where ever you added it to.

invite script is a DIFFRENT TCL file, and not the same one :]
all you have to do is get that invite script, and modify it for your needs (just simple DB configurations nothing too hard), and it will work fine

TIP when you are installing hacks, try to read the code before you are adding it, to see where you are adding it, and try to understand it, it will help you solve a future bugs in your board, plus, you will learn more, and you wont ask such questions again :FRlol:
