Default Most ever posts in one day
Version: 3.6.x
Hack Category: Add-On Releases

Hi everyone here this is my very first post on vBHackers. I would like to ask an add on that shows the maxium number of posts on a certain day.

My request is to realize a plugin that adds a new row in the What's Going On box and reports there the most ever posts (not posters) in one day (for example: The most ever posts in one day was 100, on 28/10/2006).
and in a line above or below this the names of the users that have posted during the current day. This should look like the Currently Active Users statistic. Hope I made myself clear enough.

Thanks everyone of you for you time and care!!!

My Best Regards
Samantha

I suppose that could be possible... Could you stick it in the "[Site Name] Statistics" box instead?

You should be able to set up a cron job, that will count up all the posts in the past 24 hours and then save that to a table like the datastore.
