Default making ed2k links useable in vbulletin

I've a poblem on my forum.

My forum is having recently a section with Edonkey/emule links. But those links are not working with vbulletin.

This is what the direct request is:

If I type this:

ed2k://|file|filename.avi|733419520|D4C22013D058BFD3E37C7 FB94C8A4120|/

Than it will return
ed2k: filename.avi

The filename.avi is clickable. The properties of this link are: ed2k://|file|filename.avi|733419520|D4C22013D058BFD3E37C7 FB94C8A4120|/

Thnx in advance, riderzzz

I am not a coder/hacker myself, so its too hard to find the link to make this.

Is there no-one who knows where i have to search for?

Here is how you can add a new BBCode command in the admin settings so you can use ed2k links on your board that will be clickable.

In the top box add "ed2k" without the square brackets:
ed2k

In the main code box add this: Leave OPTION disabled at the bottom of the page, becuase you are not using the {option} parameter.
<a href="{param}"><b>Add ed2k Link</b></a>

In the box below that just add an example of a ed2k link, just use this below:
[ed2k]ed2k://|file|winrar.rar|1272657|C102BD5034B6C8B99FA74A215 BF7CF1A|/[/ed2k]

In the box at the bottom just add a description saying what this BBCode does on the site, you can use this example below:
This is an ed2k links code that lets you post clickable links on the forum.

When you use the option to test your code, you will also see the option is there to add a path to a button that will be displayed with the other post icons. Just create new icon for use that will be displayed along with the other BBCode incons (vB3 only)
