I am looking for a huge Lyrics database hack for my forums with many features and admin controlable. I think it will be pretty useful for all the music-related forums out there.

Hope to see someone working on this.

What the hell. That is a tutorial system hack. What I'm asking is for a music lyrics database. lol

let me quick think about what you'll be willing to store, retrieve and search

title
author
performer
lyrics
alternative versions
type of music

looking at this screen:

I see:
title (same as above)
userid (doesn't really matter, but handy if you want to do some statspages afterwards)
message (would say where the lyrics could go)
description
category (type of music)
related link (alternative versions)
hidden

so basicly you would only need to rework how it looks and add some more fields to store the additional info

depends on whether you are making moeny out of them or just offering the lyrics for download, else they even could start licensing subs for movies
