Hi,

I am looking for a game hack which is simulair to the IMDB hack but then reviels the gamespot.com images i.o the imdb images.

I am very n00b in this so i am unable to alter the current IMDB hack in displaying the gamespot images.

It would be great if somebody is able in getting this right.

I don't think it will be possible with gamespot.com, too many screenshots missing ;)

You'll have more luck on ign.com, they give similar info as on imdb

But as you say, that would be a great addition

Gamespot is fine in my experience it works well its not too slow and for the most part has everything I want. Occasionally the scene is too fast for there to be a rating on the game ive noticed but it does work.



www.gamerankings.com was another one I was looking at. IGN just didnt seem to have the info I wanted presented the way I wanted if that makes sense.

Converting the imdb from my pack however is not a simple task it needs a virtual rewrite to get it working with any other site. If you are not good with php and regular expressions then dont bother to try.

I wont be releasing any time soon before anyone asks btw I think I have done my bit for the fxp scene.

im using gamerrankings.com and its working great wanted to use gamespot at the beginning, but was to messy to make the search work for ps2\xbox etc' if im not mistaken their default search is ps2 or xbox, and if you are looking for pc game, that have a version for ps2 or xbox you'll get the xbox info and not the pc info that you need (changes are raking, info, screenies etc').

Depends on how you do your search that one. If you look at my screenshots youll see I clearly dont have that problem.

As for me releasing no I wont be but I will help and give advice when requested. I am of the opinion that learning how to do it yourself is far more rewarding than having it done for you.

his search thingie is to search for mirrors so setup like a mirrorsearch.php and just add a lile search button kinda like mirrorsearch.php?msearch= w/e release name then just list all the results frum lockdown table such as location and time and status of the ftp
once u have that setup just add the seach bit to ur templates

Nice explanation just a shame its wrong and missing huge chunks of what the search actually does :p.
