this is so needed and why it was overlooked by the vb team is beyond me

when u temp ban someone right now, all they get is a page saying they do not have permission, also u cannot when u temp ban someone put a reason in

so other mods or the admins do not know why u banned that person which is really frusterating



how it should be? u temp ban someone and fill in a reason, then when that person goes to the forums they get a page saying they were banned, the reason why, by who, and for how long

that would really really help, there is a modification at vb.org that does everything except let u state a reason

also, when u ban someone and then the ban is lifted, why does all record of it go away? i would like to have some history so i know "have i banned this joker before"
