Hi
I am looking for this hack for a long time now.
The basics:
The most basic version would be by using the profile picture but I would like to have an more advanced version:
User backend:
Link to hotornot in the usercp
Show an introduction to what is hotornot, how to use it and what the rules are (rules editable by acp)
Users are able to upload X (which is defined via the acp) photos to their profile.
Photos can be added to categories (like: male, female, sexy, etc, defined via acp)
They can decide which photo takes part in "hot or not".
Comments and votes can be seen below the pictures in the profile
Pictures are shown in the public user profile
The front end:
hotornot link in the navbar
Category drop down in the corner to select only photos from a certain category.
Show All photos is predefined as category
Shows a random photo of all available photos for hotornot in the center in original size.
Above or below (maybe also via acp) a rating scale from 1 to 10 where 1 is ugly and 10 is perfect (or NOT 1 2 ... 9 10 HOT)
after checking a radio button the vote is stored and the next image loaded.
On the left (or right, defined via acp) a box is shown with the smaler version of the previous picture.
There you can see the avarage vote (like 6.53), the number of votes and your vote.
Below the small picture is a comment box to write a comment.
Below the box is a link "view all X comments" or "there are currently no comments"
There are websites that do this like:
http://www.hotornot.com/
I realy would like to see this done for vbulletin.
If you think the same then bump this thread by expressing that you want it too, to make it the "Most Wanted Hack"
