Users are forced to reply OR THANKS to the post before they can view the hidden content.

e.g. In posted HIDDEN message "You must reply or THANKS to see the hidden content"

2 things disturb me in this post...

- Do not use this much caps and certainly no ! when you make a request
- Request as first post? Dont you have the decency to at least contribute on the board before requesting?

Well personally I would just prefer you used the search button before making a request or even maybe just maybe try opening your eyes before making a request.
If you cant find your request on this board then you really shouldnt be attempting to run a board.

Now, about your request:
I don't quite get what you are saying, but what I understood was this;
A user may not post "Thanks", "Thank you", or "thank" in general, in combination with the hide hack?

If thats it/not it, please post here.

I belive he wants the person to either click a thankyou button, kinda like the install button here, or post a reply.

Shouldn't be too hard to code as an addon to one of the lockdown hacks, should it?

Do you use one of the hide hack's posted here if so which one.
What you want is an addon to an existing hack rather than a new hack written so will make it easier if we know which peice of code to base it on.
If hack isnt found here then a link to where it can be found I guess would help.

Writing the thank you button side of things is fairly straight forward I would of thought but since it needs to work in conjunction with existing code it helps to see the existing code.

Dont like the idea of this hack it seems to me its against the values upon which the scene was based. One of which is showing appreciation of others effort. Clicking a button instead of taking the time to physically type a reply doesnt quite strike me as showing your appreciation.

I'm using Hide Hack 2.06.3 for vBulletin 3.07 and automatic thank you hack v1.0 VB 3.0 GOLD Grog6 (this oldversion is work well without any problem with vb3.07)

Ok not even much of an addon this one.
Not tested so no guarantees it works and still dont like the idea of clicking a button instead of taking the time to show some appreciation.
