Forum Stats in Template

I am using a hack that puts a left column throughout the community. I want to display the forum stats there such as Posts, Threads, Members, Newest Members and Who is Online.

Is there a hack for that or a query already written to display this information?

You can just extractthat from the forum home template.. If it doesn't work it's because you'll need a plugin post here if you do.

It does not work. I tried putting the code from FORUMHOME and the data variables show up blank.

I tried putting the FORUMHOME code into the header and footer as well and neither would display the information either.

$totalposts and $totalthreads show up as blank. It shows up as:
