Forum Shop

I have had a right good look over the internet for this sort of hack, and could only find similar things.

Its not something I need, but feel its mabye something I would use or impliment.

Basically a forum shop. I have seen the points systems, and the cafepress, and picture gallery hacks, and think they would be good merged together for forums to actually sell real products.

If I was using it, I could probably use 1 of these hacks and just use it as a shop. But I think having these together, using activity and such within the forum software it could be devolped into a nice hack with such features as.

Discounts for forum activity
THe ability for users to sell there own products, mabye getting promotions for activity, or donations towards server costs.

Just wanted to throw some idea's out there.

Apologies if there is already something like this, and I have just blatantly missed it.

I am in no way going to help you achieve what you are trying to achieve, but I just wanted to inform you and everyone else that there used to be such a product called 'vBPlaza' which allowed you to do everything you mentioned in your post. From points to shops, you could do everything.

Nevermind, the plugin has been taken over again, but in order to obtain it, you must pay 50$/yearly for one site.

You may want to use vBCredits, but there's no shops, yet!

Yeah had a look around the site, and it doesn't really give much info of what it actually does.

I would be willing to pay for it anyway if I did want to use it, but not when it doesn't even tell me what it does. I will keep an eye out here, and on VB.org and see if anyone picks up on the topics, and wants to discuss more. I just wish I could code, or could be bothered to learn (which is probably the real reason)

Alright Watson, you are not alone. I am watching vB.org closely for future possible shop releases compatible with vBCredits, or whatever.

Why not just tie Wordpress into the forum and use a cart?
