Default Forum home template change [REQ]
Version: 3.0.x
Hack Category: Add-On Releases

I've came across this screen shot and liked how the forum in the screen shot did their forum home stats (on the left side).

I'd be willing to pay someone if they'd like if they can re-produce the following for vBulletin 3.5.4

This would be very time consuming, but since no one else is looking into it at the moment, I will play around with it, but I doubt that I'll find much free time to finish it. I think that their version is rather boring though, so the one that I'll design will also have some added features, like how many thread replies and how many times the thread has been viewed. I'll post it if I find the time to finish it

I was just thinking about this and it would go a lot faster if you could PM their URL... thanks

Colonel Ingus,

I appreciate your willingness to work on this and I'd be glad to pay you for your time as well. Sadly all I have is this screen shot as someone else posted this screen shot but never replied back to me as to where it was taken from so I don't know the url of the site that uses this.

This looks real good so far. Thanks for the effort. I will certainly want to make use of this too.

Yeah I'm wondering why it wasn't done before, but that's OK because the more our forums don't look 'stock' the better :nervous:

That's exactly the same way I feel Colonel Ingus, I hate the fact my forum looks just like everyone elses but just with different colors.

I really love how http://www.daniweb.com has their forum - it's running vBulletin but at first glance you wouldn't guess so.

I respect Dani more than any other woman coder that I've ever known. She is incredible, but her forum has the basic vB layout, with the exception of the RSS image. The one above is much more heavily modded
