If I'd run a vB I'd probably remove the call home aswell. It messes up your admincp if vb.com is down.

yep and me still wondering if it is legal to include a call home.

yeah but i mean specificaly a cracked version for people who can't be bothered to buy a licence

Please read my post again, and you should understand.

There is currently no reliable method of checking someone's license state for sites like ours, so we cannot check whether or not someone has a license.
