Default Dynamic-FX Slide-In Latest Post
Version: 3.6.x
Hack Category: Forum Display Enhancements
Hi can someone please help me with this little mod ???

I would like to use Dynamic-FX Slide-In Menu (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/davidmenu.htm) to display the latest post of each of the category in the forum.

For Example in the forum I have the following category:

Cat1
Cat2
Cat3
.....
.....
.....
CatN

On Dynamic FX Slide In Menu I would like it to display:

Latest post of Cat1
Latest post of Cat2
Latest post of Cat3
.........................
.........................
.........................
Latest post of CatN

That may not be so 'little' ;) You'll need to tell the menu where to get its information from, and that may take a large mod in itself :ermm:

That's just the links to the forums, he wants to display the posts out of the forum. It shouldn't technically be to hard as it's just rewritting a latest posts mods, what would make it easier is if it were just the latest 5 posts rather than latest from each catergory. It would probably be better of for the user as well.
