There used to be one for 3.5.x and I'm guessing it should still work for 3.6.x.

Give me a few minutes to do some more research :p

Ok try this and and let us know if it works out OK. As I find time I'm also going to be working on a newer updated version since it appears that many people would want something like this

If that doesn't work then you can just add an else to the avatar conditional in the postbit to display a different image instead of no image.

Question

Are you sure about this? I mean have you confirmed it? In my research on this topic everyone was saying that using a conditional would work in the older versions of vB, but that a plugin would be needed for the newer version of vB. Hope you're right though ;)

I'm guessing that would be because of post caching though that would only be a problem if you were displaying a variable that mattered for the user viewing. For the conditional your using a variable that matters for the post and will stay the same for every user viewing it.
