Default Custom Who's Online Locations Hack v1.0
Version: 3.0.x
Hack Category: Add-On Releases

Not sure if this is place to request this or not, just let me know. I'd love to have this hack for version 3.5.4. Anyone know how to do that or if this would even work as it is for 3.5.4? I know how to do it all but run queries..lol.

Thanks in advance!

well that hack would require a port but it's so old it would be eaiser just to recode it. Theoretically it shouldn't be to hard. Do you just want to add a field you can edit in your options which will display a custom location?

Yeah.. i want usergroups to be able to do it (but only those that I want and give permission to use lol) and for it to show in their ONLINE locations--not their living location that will be in their postbit, kwim??

Like if Admin didnt want ppl to know they were viewing the memberlist, it would show whatever the admin wanted ppl to see, like, "none of your business!" lol Make sense?

yeah it does make sense :p Try getting in contact with the author and they might have an up-to-date version which they haven't released yet.

Thanks I emailed the person. He hasn't been online for SO long, so I may not even get a reply. Is it an issue if someone else rewrites this?

it all depends on how much of his code you use, ir you just use the idea and none of his code then it won't be a problem, give it a day.
