I am running vbulletin 3.6 which is a phone forum. what i want is on sign up or it can be altered in user cp a default image of a phone manufactor ie nokia that will appear under your name.
This is so we can tell what sort of phone the user has.
I have had a look around this board and i cant see such a hack, thanks.

Add it as a custom profile field which then has an image in the postbit.

IE.
A drop down with the preset names of each manufacturer;
Nokia
Samsung
Sony Ericsson
etc.

Then in the postbit template put;
<img src="./images/phones/$post[fieldx].gif" border="0" alt="$post[fieldx]" />

Change x to the number of the field and have fun xD.

I cant seam to get it to work where in the template can i put it and i have a style installed at /images/styles/smartblue/

Well, add the imgs to a dir, then make sure it calls to that one. Then add tgat line into the postbit or postbit_legacy
