Looking for a hack that has been requested quite a bit for some time now... (not on this site... I don't think)

This particular hack would add an option per Usergroup: "Can edit own signature" so that the signature could not be edited nor disabled via UserCP.

We are an International Gaming Community that uses our signature area to display game specific avatars, tags, awards, etc... However, we have a problem with members adding or changing this around which we do not allow and is quite bothersome. We are aware of a total profile lock, but are not liking the idea of that much restriction. We are also aware of creating a custom user field but we need these items available in the post field... unless there is a way to allow this custom user field to show in that area then we can disable the signature block all together and deny access to the new custom field via Usergroup.

If anything can be done to accommodate this feature or come up with a solution we could use, we appreciate it.
