well i know a lot of you dont wanna do edits untill final but i wanna know is there a way to just to make fastsnap part in newthread show all we enter is the full think and when we post it will go into the right fields

when I enter the whole copied fastsnap it works 9 outta 10 times and fills in the fields: user/pass/ip/port in automaticly.

But a fastsnap button wich pops up a BB Code screen where you can paste the fastnap into and hit okay. That would be perfect.

i mean something that you just enter the full ftpinfo and it doesnt fill anything in... its just all ready.

That's not so hard, in touching virus hack, he wrote in vbscript the splitting action.

Just write it in PHP, and you'll have the result..

Agree did already a trial but when there is a @ or : in the username password it just doesn't work right ;)
Here you can see it it accepts $ftp as the fastsnap and give out the vars.
But some user:pass combinations just don't work

The fastsnap seperators ARE @ and :, so it would be pretty impossible to implement
something that could tell the difference inbetween them.
If it were possible, although I'm not aware of it, you could give users an option
to specify how man '@' or ':'s you had before the actual seperator....

I think it would be a lot easier to just tell users to either not create such a
password/username, or to enter the info manually.

I agree with Mousee be easier to stop them doing those types of usernames than it would to come up with the right code to allow it.

Use some error checking.
Do front end stop message var name = lockdown_fastsnap
text = fastnap information incorrect please check and try again.

yeah that's true, but i dont think that people still do such as accounts
