This has been requested so many times, and there are various solutions. GARS is one, vbArticles WAS one... there was also vbJournal, I think.

The problem is I think everyone has their own idea about what they want it to be.

Maybe give us a list of features your ideal articles system would have?

One of the features I'd like to see is what I coded for my version: the ability to associate a particular artile with a forum category, so that when that category is viewed, all "associated" articles also appear. Seen in action here. Click through the nav buttons, each category has sub-forms AND "articles".

I've already stated why I wouldn't use GARS, and vBarticles disappeared of the face of the web.

I'd like to see this too.

The link provided in the post above mine sums up a lot of features I'd like to see in an article system. One thing I don't want though is for it to be based off of vBulletin's thread system. Maybe a system that would be customizable for many things. Articles, tutorials, etc.
