Hello all. I just confirmed that that only Admins can change usernames.

I was wondering if you all know of a hack that will allow members of a selected usergroup to be able to change their username.

If not I would like to request a hack which will allow a usergroup the ability to change their username when they like.

Would be nice if there was a hack that did ONLY this. Not planing on installing vbplaza when all you need is this one single feature :ermm:

In theory it would be pretty simple ;)

The only thing would be getting it to put the echo if the username is taken in the right place... actually that won't be to hard

With this modification installed you can let your members change their own username, or let Staff members change the usernames of other members.

Also a history of previously used names for a member is kept.
