Not directly. I want to specify some usergroups. But it should be a thread status icon so as for example like closed....

hmm... if you want it to be shown inside the thread as well, so its go by post (table in DB) if you want it out side, that i showed ya the way. i didnt ask about the size of it as far as i concerned you can make it as size as wallpaper just trying to get what exacly that you want, so ill be able to help you out.

I just want extensions for the script which you posted in the 2nd post in this thread. Test it and you will see that it only works if the thread creator is from this group but I also want that if a poster in a thread is from this group that this icon gets displayed.
Then I want that if you click on the status icon that you get linked to the first post in this thread of a member of this special group.

Did you get it? If not tell me where do you have problems to get it.

ow, so what you want that if in some thread, there's a post of the user that belongs to specific usergroup, this icon will show up outside, and when you click on it, you'll be redirected to the post he wrote?

Can anybody help me? I would be enough if it would work when there is a post of a user belonging to a special usergroup.
