Default about Registration
Version: 3.6.x
Hack Category: Add-On Releases

1. Displayer 2 field on HOMEPAGE
Username: ......
password: ......
After guest hit "Go" button, they will be automatically redirected to the register.php page to complete their registration form.

You all get what I mean? I think that this way would make guets more eager to join my board.

2. Autocheck the registration form
Demo: http://17cp.com/bbs/register.php

There was quick register that was released on vborg where you only needed to type in user/pass and email.

I think it is kind of simple. Tell me, how to create a button that performs that function?

Please do not triple post

You would need to alter the templates to pick up the post varibles. I would take a look at the quick register.

They can do that now by simply clicking on the register button. I know you want to use the login form for this, but if they don't have a username or a password yet then what would they know to put their? I like your idea to send them to register, but I don't see how you could easily apply it :ermm:

Might be easier to just move the register link to the same box that login is at. You can do that by simply rearranging the order of the navbar links so that the register link is directly under the login screen

Or you could even stick the login link in the same box as the login form!

Is there an echo? That was already mentioned :p

Takiye actually hit upon a good idea here, and while it is slight, it might just add a few more new members just by rearanging a few things on the navbar. Come to think of it, I'm surprised that vB missed this. Nice find Takiye ;)

But then you go on to say:

Which implies that that you mean move the navbar link from the opposite end of the navbar to the end closest the login box. So i said move it into the box instead of below the box.
