Default Be able to set a usergroup as a moderator

Is there a mod or can a mod be made where you can set a usergroup as a moderator of a particular forum rather than having to set each person individually?

You have to go to the Forum Manager, then in the forum you want to add a mod you click the add moderator option in the drop down menu. Then you just add there name. Easy enough.

no i know how to add people as a moderator of a forum, but our boards have about 150 forums etc, and can have up to 30 moderators per forum, we recently transferfed over from PHPBB to VBULLETIN, it would just make it easier to be able to set multiple usergroups as a moderators so all members of those particular usergroups are moderators rather than have to add each moderator one by one, is there a mod that can do this?

You can already set a user in the usergroup of moderator. Or even set there secondary group to moderator. Provided you then give that group moderator privallages in the permissions they would be able to moderate the forums you give them permissions on.
Alternatively you can create multiple usergroups and give each group moderater perms for specific forums
So usergroupA could be given permission to mod General Conversation while usergroupB cant but can moderate jokes and both usergroups can moderate the news forum.
You get the idea I hope.
Forum Permissions is what you need to be playing with in short.
